Basic Fruit Smoothie

 2 strawberries – hulled
 1 banana – cut into chunks
 2 pears or apples – peeled
 1 cup orange / peach / mango juice
 5 to 8 ice cubes

In a blender, combine strawberries, banana and peaches.

Blend until fruit is pureed.

Blend in the juice.

Add ice and blend to desired consistency.

Pour into glasses and serve.

Use whatever fresh fruits are in season. Any kind of berry, mangoes, pawpaw, kiwi fruit – all make a great smoothie. Experiment with your favorites.
