Bread Pudding

 1 loaf sliced white bread (stale/hard bread)
 2 cups milk
 3 large eggs, beaten
 1 cup sugar
 4 tbsp butter
 2 tbsp vanilla extract
 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Butter both sides of bread slices and toast the slices on both sides.

Combine eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Mix well.

Take a casserole dish and grease with butter.

Break up toasted bread, and arrange in the casserole dish.

Pour egg mixture over bread.

Bake 40 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
