How to make Boiled Breadfruit (Fenukeh'ki Banbukeyo)

1 Breadfruit (large)


1Cut the breadfruit into 3 pieces lengthwise

2Take off the hard, outer skin using a peeler

3Cut out the core; you should be left with concave slices

4Place in a vegetable steamer and cook for about 15 minutes. (should be soft to the touch when fully cooked)

Steaming Alternative:
Place the breadfruit slices in a zipper bag, and place in a pot of boiling water; cook for about 15 minutes. The breadfruit should be soft to the touch when fully cooked
